I’m the original owner of a 1990 ZR-I since factory-ordering the vehicle, but rarely drive it at all despite maintaining insurance year after year. I’ve lost interest in it and now believe it’s time to let it go.

Its dark red metallic paint is old and black interior has some dash panel warpage, alternator and tires have been replaced (still in possession of original parts and all factory documentation) mileage is low and the drive train runs well.
Also have two NOS LT-5 Delco water pumps in their original boxes.
Many thanks to Danny Ellison for organizing last night’s club event where over 30 Corvettes of Bakersfield members enjoyed an evening of Corvette Camaraderie at Firehouse’s Friday Night Graffiti.
Sometimes a spontaneous run can be the best time ever. Such was the case today. Last night Dale Frye called for a run to P-Dubs in Stallion Springs for lunch. Four Corvettes, one SUV and eight club members traveled the back way to Tehachapi enjoying the beautiful lavender wildflowers covering the hill sides. We were treated with a train going around the Tehachapi Loop. As we arrived on the outskirts of Tehachapi we were joined by Jack & Yolanda Atkinson with their cool looking Corvette.
After lunch at P-Dubs we were invited to the Atkinson’s beautiful mountain home overlooking the Tehachapi mountains. We all sat around under the carport visiting and enjoyed ice cream and cake as well as touring their home, show cars and hillside surroundings. It was all quite impressive. It was a fantastic day and couldn’t have been planned any better. Thank you Dale for suggesting this run and thank you Yolanda and Jack for being such a gracious hosts at your home.
I have a 1981 Corvette for sale. It is a two owner and has 50,800 original miles on it. It just passed smog. It is in very nice condition. It was appraised for $16 to 18K. I am asking $12,500. I am 87 years of age and it is difficult getting in and out. I enjoy it but it is beyond my time. I can send pictures. Thank you.
