At 8:00 am we will meet at Blackwells Corner Hwy 33 and Hwy 46 on the west side of the building. There everyone will sign in. There will be a drivers briefing and a detailed itinerary will be distributed
Out first tasting is at Sculpterra Winery. Our second tasting and lunch will be at Still Waters Vineyard. Our final tasting will be at “bovino” Vineyards.
After tasting we will travel to the Best Way Inn 2701 Spring St. Paso Robles (805 238-0078).Reservations can be made by calling the before mentioned number and requesting to speak to “A J” and telling him you are with the Corvettes of Bakersfield for Saturday, September 25th. As of now the whole motel is blocked for us at a discounted rate of $160.00 plus tax (their normal asking price for a single night on the weekend is $229.00). On September 10th we will release the block so he can fill rooms that have not been booked.
We are limited to 40 people and we had to beg to get that many spots. This is exclusive to COB members until September 1st. At that point we will open the opportunity to family and friends.
Registration per person is $86.00. This covers three tastings at $20.00 each. Lunch at Still Waters and a chicken, tri tip and rib dinner at the motel. Water will be provided. You are responsible for any other beverages you wish to consume (no alcohol can be consumed at the wineries except for what is purchased at the winery).
We ask participants to bring a lawn chair, a raffle prize and be prepared for how cool it gets when the sun goes down.
