Details:
Dale and Trudy were excited to plan and lead this run, so we are going in memory of Trudy. After a briefing, we will caravan north to Mooney Grove Park in Visalia. This beautiful, historic park was established in 1909 and is the oldest county park in California. We have a reserved picnic area to enjoy lunch that is being provided by some generous club members (if you want to contribute, please contact Cher Silliman ASAP). Remember to bring your own drinks. Along with our picnic lunch, we will tour the park, its pioneer village, and museum. We will then depart for Superior Dairy in Hanford for dessert. This family-owned ice cream parlor has been in business since 1929 and is known around the country for its huge helpings of delicious ice cream.
