I made a few changes to the flyer. Be sure you read it carefully. I changed the location of our meeting place from the original flyer. It will be at the Albertson’s parking lot at the corner of Wible and Panama Lane. Instead of stopping in Castaic for a bathroom break, I decided to stop at the Frazier Park Flying J right off the I5 & Frazier Park exit. Be sure to bring your walkie-talkies set on channel 5. It’s been August 2015 since we had our last Nethercutt Run and we are way overdue. For those that have been on our previous run, you will remember how beautiful and ornate the museum and exhibits are. Don’t miss this 1 1/2 hour drive to Sylmar, CA where you will see hundreds of concourse quality vintage cars, a fully restored steam locomotive and pullman car and a Grand Salon full of valuable collectibles including wall filling music boxes and ornately inlaid and carved furniture from the 18th and 19th century.
We will gather at the Albertsons parking lot on Wible Road and Panama Lane at 7:00 AM on Saturday, 22nd and leave Bakersfield a little afterwards. We will take a short break at the Flying J truck stop at 42810 Frazier Mt. Park Road; just off the I5. We will arrive at Sylmar by 9 o’clock when the museum opens. There will be lots to see for an hour. Our guided tour will begin at 10 AM and it will be two hours long. The locomotive and Pullman car tour will begin at 12:30 and will only be open about 20 minutes. The museum is free but the guided tour will be $10 per person payable in advance to Kim Miller. Be sure to have a good breakfast or bring snacks as we will not have lunch till after 1:00 pm. At about 1 o’clock we will load up and head for the Route 66 Classic Grill on 18730 Soledad Road, Santa Clarita.

¨ Children must be 10-years or older to attend the tour.
¨ Tour length is approximately 2 hours
¨ Tickets must be purchased at the Nethercutt Museum Counter before you check-in for your tour. We have gone “Cashless”. Credit/Debit Cards only.
¨ Check-in for the tour will be across the street from the museum at the Nethercutt Collection. The doors will open 15 minutes before the start of your tour. It is important to arrive at check-in time, otherwise you will miss out on the first floor of the tour.)
¨ The Nethercutt Museum & Collection are both Handicapped Accessible.
¨ Wear comfortable shoes and bring water. The tour will walk you through 4 floors. We do have an elevator and seating throughout the tour if needed.
¨ Please notify us ASAP to any changes or cancelations to your Tour Reservation.
¨ No food or beverages—Water is OK

¨ Parking is at the Nethercutt Museum Building and is Free. The entrance is on Bradley St.
